The Girl in the Scarf

Not a ton to report on today. Tomorrow I will get my things organized since I will be getting on a plane and heading to Rutherford, NJ, for the last night of the ProgStock festival. Rachel is performing there tomorrow, and I wish I could be there for her and for the whole weekend, but one day is a wonderful start. Maybe someday, right? I know they are webcasting this year’s festival, so I may see if I can catch some of the performances that way before I head out. My main reason for going the last night, apart from it working well with my schedule, is that Steve “H” Hogarth of Marillion will be performing his first “H Natural” solo show in the States. For years I’ve only managed to see glimpses of his solo shows via YouTube and Marillion’s The Space VOD website, some recordings professional, and some through the lens of blurry phone cameras. It’s an unfortunate experience being a Marillion fan in the states, but since this is the closest I can get to seeing them apart from Cruise to the Edge, I’ll take it. 🙂

I’m honestly not sure when exactly I’ll get to the venue where the festival’s taking place. At a glimpse, there doesn’t seem to be much planned for Sunday, but I’m good at playing things by ear. Either way, I’m eager to go and then write all about my experience!
