January 20, 2026 – 5 subscribers!

I was thrilled to look at my website stats earlier today and discover that I now have 5 subscribers! Thank you all so much for your support. The best motivation I could get to keep writing is the knowledge that there’s someone waiting to read what I post next, so really, thank you eternally.

The summer plans for Primus were announced today. They’re revisiting the Claypool Gold concept they formed for New Year’s Eve 2024, only this summer, it will feature, not only Primus, but also the Claypool-Lennon Delirium, and the Frog Brigade. No stops in Nebraska once again, but they will be stopping in Kansas City at the end of May, funny enough, at the same venue I’ll be seeing David Byrne at, also in May. I signed up for the artist presale for Kansas City, which goes on sale tomorrow. We’ll see what happens!

I’m in the process of moving some things around my apartment. I rent a 2-bedroom unit, but use one of the rooms as a kind of multipurpose room. It serves as a guest room, but I’m also working on developing it as a space for writing as well as for retro gaming. I moved my desk, which was originally in my living room, into this multipurpose room. The thing is, though, I don’t have a chair yet for said desk, so I paid a visit to the Nebraska Furniture Mart (fun fact: the largest furniture store in the US) and picked out a gamer-style black and red chair. I recently bought a Windows XP laptop off eBay with some games that I had pre-installed. These were all Disney and Blizzard PC games I remember from when I was a kid. I’ve also recently rediscovered my enthusiasm for gaming on my old Playstation 2 console. This led me to finally discover the greatness that is the Kingdom Hearts saga. I finally finished the first game last night! I plan to take a break for a little bit before starting the next game.
