February 12, 2026 – A few words before bed

I sat and stared at the blinking line for longer than usual before I finally started typing. This is what happens when time gets away from you and you almost forget to update your blog. We’ve all been there, right? Actually, don’t answer that.

Getting more and more emails and notifications from Cruise to the Edge related to check-in, WiFi packages, and the like. My dad and I are brainstorming all sorts of possibilities for what we may want to do both on the ship and ashore. In the past, I haven’t ventured off the ship much, apart from a couple of hours to maybe grab lunch and drinks with friends. Sometimes something would be happening on the ship that I’d want to see, so I would opt to stay onboard while my cabin mates went ashore. My dad’s been exploring the excursion options, and he’s mentioned a few that sound fun, like a food tour, and dolphin watching. I haven’t been close to a dolphin since we took a family trip to SeaWorld around 2005 or so for my sister’s birthday!
